Madrid, March 5, 2024 – Spanish technology company RepScan, a leader in improving online reputation for individuals and businesses by removing negative content, has announced a Series A funding round to raise €4 million. The main objective is to consolidate its international expansion and strengthen its artificial intelligence-driven technology.

Among the company’s achievements in its three-year trajectory are the signing of more than 1,200 contracts and surpassing the milestone of the first million euros in sales, a significant achievement in the field of technological innovation. In addition, the company already has offices and clients in the United States through its subsidiary based in Los Angeles and Miami, and with clients in more than 45 countries.

RepScan operates under a SaaS (Software as a Service) model, providing companies with access to a proprietary platform. This tool enables real-time detection of harmful content through a search engine specialized in negative reputation. In addition, it offers the ability to assess the probability of elimination and manage the mitigation of such content. It also allows the management of reviews of several establishments from a single interface. Companies can monitor their online reputation index through RepScan’s Digital Reputation Score, allowing them to measure both negative and positive perception and compare themselves with their competitors.

Additionally, RepScan provides a platform for individuals, enabling the removal of various types of content, such as photos, videos and personal data. This option is crucial to address urgent situations, as the first moments are critical to stop the spread of negative digital content.

It should be noted that Repscan has achieved 96% efficiency in the removal of content on the Internet, always acting in an ethical and legal manner.

Among the products developed, the “Red button against cyberbullying” stands out, an emblematic initiative that underlines the company’s commitment to society. This innovative solution has established itself as a pioneer in the fight against this scourge which, according to the UN report, causes thousands of suicides among adolescents every year. An example of its impact is its implementation by Real Betís Balompie, which has adopted this solution to protect both its youth team and its men’s and women’s teams, guaranteeing the urgent removal of harmful content from the Internet.

“The Internet is a vast space that hosts content of great interest, but it is also a platform conducive to spreading offensive content anonymously. With RepScan, we have developed a technology that seeks to restore the rights of companies and individuals online. Our goal is to restore their right to truth, honor, oblivion, self-image, second chance and digital reintegration,” explains Josep Coll, co-founder of RepScan. “This round of funding will allow us to expand our business, consolidate our international presence and strengthen our technology department to further automate search and removal processes for harmful content on the internet using artificial intelligence.”
